The rear wheel drive configuration powers the entry-level model and uses a single rear mounted motor that delivers 282 horsepower. Opt for the dual motor all-wheel drive configuration, and power is supposed to be a robust 330 horsepower.

The entry level model employs an 86-kWh battery pack that is designed to handle fast charging. Capable of recharging from 10 to 80% in just 30 minutes, road trips are always easy and hassle-free in the ID. Buzz.

Although there has been no official numbers on the Volkswagen ID Buzz range, we can expect an estimated range of at least 260 miles. Taking a look at the European rear-wheel drive version that employs an 82 kWh battery, this configuration is able to achieve an estimated range of 263 miles. With the North American version of this electric fan employing a battery that is slightly larger, we can expect an estimated range that matches or bests the European version.
